The story

Engineer, investor, entrepreneur

My background is in software engineering and technology, where I’ve spent years building products, solving complex problems, and leading teams. Over time, that experience also led me toward entrepreneurship and creating products of my own.

Investing became another area where I found myself drawn to the same kind of thinking — understanding how businesses work, what drives their economics, how management allocates capital, and what those businesses might ultimately be worth.

The more I researched companies, the more I became frustrated by fragmented information, market noise, and tools that either oversimplified analysis or hid too much of the reasoning behind it. That experience eventually contributed to the creation of ValueSages.

Today, I use this site to share the companies I research, explain the ideas behind fundamental analysis, and document the way I think about investing and valuation.

My investment philosophy

I don't believe anyone can reliably predict what a stock will do next month. I try to understand the business, its financial position and the assumptions embedded in its current price.
